Abstract

The invention relates to a wood adhesive and a preparing method thereof, particularly to a flame-retardant modified lignin resin glue and a preparing method thereof. The flame retardant modified lignin resin glue is prepared by the following components in percent by weight: 20-30 percents of formaldehyde solution with concentration of 30-50 percents, 8-12 percents of phenolic compounds with three functionality epoxide resin, and the paper-making waste liquor with herbal lignin as the major active substance. The invention has the advantages of flame resistance and high adhesive strength. The content of free naphthol and free formaldehyde of the invention is low, so that the invention is environmentally-friendly. The invention makes use of paper-making waste liquor, thus the invention can not only protect environment, but also lower production cost greatly.
