Abstract

The invention discloses a method for producing a granular magnesium sulfate fertilizer, and particularly relates to a manufacturing method in which pneumatic drying and air classification are adopted. The method comprises the following steps of: after industrial sulfuric acid and caustic-calcined magnesium oxide powder serving as raw materials are reacted, crushing the materials; drying the crushed materials, transporting the materials into a first-stage dryer by using air flow for pre-drying and second-stage drying; and transporting the dried materials into a third-stage air classifying device to perform air classification. The method is simple, and is easy to implement. By the method, the granular magnesium sulfate fertilizer can be produced directly. The granular fertilizer produced bythe method has medium and uniform grain size, and the internal water content is greatly reduced after the granular fertilizer is dried by the air flow, so that the fertilizer is difficult to cake in storage. Due to the medium and uniform grain size, the fertilizer can be uniformly mixed with other fertilizers so as to prepare a mixed fertilizer, the compatibility is improved, and the fertility can be exerted to the maximum extent. Besides, as the granular fertilizer is directly produced by a one-step method, flying dust can be reduced, the working environment is protected, and the problems inthe prior art for producing a magnesium sulfate fertilizer are solved.
