The invention discloses a method for separating solid state fermentation ethanol through vapor permeation in the technical field of the production of fuel ethanol. The method comprises the following steps: using a water vapor interlayer to evaporate solid state fermentation ethanol and partial water, and ensuring the obtained ethanol-water gaseous mixture to pass through an alcohol permselective membrane so as to greatly increase the concentration of ethanol. The method uses water vapor to extract ethanol and separate solid material and ethanol in a fermentation tank, thus the obtained mixture only contains ethanol and water and the subsequent separation operation can be performed easily and conveniently. Compared with the other methods for separating the ethanol-water mixture, the method has the advantages of high separation efficiency, less energy consumption, low cost, no pollution, convenient operation, easy amplification method and the like and has industrialization prospect.
