The invention discloses a method for microwave extraction of aescine in Chinese buckeye seeds. The method comprises the steps of: drying and crushing the Chinese buckeye seeds, soaking in an ethanol water solution, and extracting through microwave radiation, wherein according to the amount of medicinal materials, the microwave radiation power is regulated to be 500-3000W and the radiation time is controlled to be 1-30 minutes so as to ensure the temperature of an extracting solution to be kept at 25-75 DEG C; and continuously stirring at the same time, filtering out the extracting solution after the continuous stirring is completed, concentrating under reduced pressure and drying to obtain extractives of the Chinese buckeye seeds. The method disclosed by the invention has the advantages that: energy and time are saved, fewer solvents are consumed, and low volatilization and low environmental pollution are realized; the heated temperature of the medicinal materials in an extraction process is low so that effective constituents are difficult to resolve and convert; and the extractives have high content of effective constituents, contain fewer impurities and are convenient for posttreatment.
