Abstract

The invention discloses a preparation method for a monomolecular magnet [Co4(hmb)4(mu3-OMe)4(MeOH)4]. The method comprises the following steps of: (1) dissolving 0.3-0.4 g of analytically pure Co(ClO4)2.6H2O and 0.1-0.3 g of analytically pure o-vanillin in 8-12 ml of mixed solution of absolute methanol and analytically pure acetonitrile in volumetric ratio of 1:1; (2) slowly adding analytically pure triethylamine or analytically pure sodium hydroxide into the solution prepared in the step (1), continuously stirring, and adjusting the pH value to be 8-9; and (3) transferring the solution prepared in the step (2) into a reaction kettle of polytetrafluoroethylene, reacting at the temperature of 70-90 DEG C for 60-80 hours, cooling to room temperature, opening the kettle, filtering, and washing with the mixed solution of the absolute methanol and the analytically pure acetonitrile in volumetric ratio of 1:1. The method overcomes the defect of poor repeatability of a solution method, and has the advantages of simple process, low cost, easiness in control over chemical components, superior repeatability, high yield and the like.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a cobalt-based single-molecule magnet preparation technology, and relates to a salt of an anion (perchlorate) with weak coordination ability and a special reaction system (acetocyanide and methanol mixed system) to adjust a suitable temperature. A preparation method for obtaining cobalt-based single-molecule magnets under solvothermal conditions. Background technique [0002] A single-molecule magnet is a molecular magnet with a true nanometer size (molecular diameter between 1-2nm), that is, the first molecular unit composed of discrete nanometer-sized molecular units that have no interaction in a magnetic sense. A magnet that is not composed of a three-dimensional extended lattice (such as metal, metal oxide, etc.). Single-molecule magnets can be prepared by solution methods from relatively simple reagents and can be easily purified. It has good solubility and can be dissolved in common organic solvents, which just meets th...
