Abstract

The invention relates to an anti-cold inducing agent for vegetables and a using method thereof. The anti-cold inducing agent contains calcium chloride (CaCl2) 10mmol.L-1, magnesium chloride (MgCl2) 3mmol.L-1, abscisic acid (ABA) 0.1mmol.L-1, and the balance water for constant volume. The anti-cold inducing agent is suitable for winter and spring seedling raising or sunlight greenhouse cultivation of thermophilic vegetable crops such as cucumbers and tomatoes. The using time arrangements include that the anti-cold inducing agent is used for seedling raising between November each year and February next year and sprayed when each seedling has two leaves and one core to three leaves and one core, spraying is performed each day and carried out for two continuous days, or the anti-cold inducing agent is used in 3 days prior to cold current after field planting to February next year, and the anti-cold inducing agent is used for once at an interval of 20-30 days and is used for 2-3 times in total. Reagents used by the anti-cold inducing agent are plant hormone and plenty of elements necessary for growth of the vegetables, the costs are low, pollution is avoided, not only is cold resistance of the cucumbers remarkably improved, but also mineral content of the cucumbers can be improved, and product nutrition quality is improved.
