Abstract

An antimicrobial anti-aging color master batch for polyethylene plastic table and chair comprises components of, by weight, 16-32% of antiseptic, 6-10% of anti-aging agent, 20-30% of colouring agent, 6-12% of disperse lubricant and 25-35% of carrier resin. Each ingredient in the anti-aging agent has good cooperative effect and can effectively prevent ageing of polyethylene plastic and enable the high polyethylene plastic to maintain characteristics of no color change, no embrittlement and permanent antibiosis, so as to satisfy antibiosis requirement of the polyethylene plastic as furniture oftable and chair, and anti-aging requirement of the polyethylene plastic as an outdoor usage product. The preparation method comprises steps of: adding the antiseptic, the anti-aging agent, the colouring agent, the disperse lubricant and the carrier resin into a high speed mixer and mixing for 20-30 min; adding the mixture into a double screw extruder for extrusion; and cooling, drying, carrying out sized dicing and packaging into the required master batch. The color master batch of the invention has characteristics of small carrier resin usage amount, low anti-oxidant consumption for master batch moulding and simple processing technology of downstream material moulding, and can be widely applied to coloring of polyethylene plastic.
