The polypropylene modified material comprises the following components by weight: 60-90% of polypropylene, 10-20% of fiberglass, 0-5% of edible calcium, 0-5% of an antioxidant, 0-5% of an ultraviolet screening agent, and 0-5% of a setting agent. The beneficial effects of the invention are as follows: (1) the polypropylene modified material provided by the invention is high temperature resistant, can be used for a long time at a temperature higher than 100 DEG C, and has good chemical stability; (2) the method for preparing the inner casing of the solar water heater by using the polypropylene modified material is simple in procedures and easy in operation; and (3) the plastic inner casing prepared by the method according to the invention has high strength, does not leak gas and water under a 5MPa container pressure, does not deform and break during water testing, pressurization and other processing processes, and has a long service life over 20 years.
