Abstract

The invention discloses a microwave photon filter of a multi-wavelength light source and a tuning and reconfiguring method of the microwave photon filter. The microwave photon filter of the multi-wavelength light source comprises a multi-wavelength light source generator and a microwave filter device. The microwave filter device comprises a phase modulator, an adjustable dispersion compensator, a first erbium-doped optical fiber amplifier, a photoelectric detector and a vector network analyzer. A comb-shaped optical fiber of the multi-wavelength light source generator is a programmable optical filter. By observing response curve of the network analyzer, dispersion value of the adjustable dispersion compensator is adjusted, time delay between adjacent optical wavelengths of adjacent multi-wavelength light is changed continuously, and central continuous tuning of the microwave photon filter can be realized. The number of comb-shaped pass bands is set by the programmable optical filter to change the number of emitting wavelengths, and adjustment of the bandwidth of the microwave photon filter is realized. Tunable capacity and reconfigurability of the microwave photon filter are realized, and the microwave photon filter can be more flexibly used for the microwave signal processing system.
