Abstract

The invention discloses a matrix for dendrobe plantation and a method for sorting rectangular plantation land pieces out. The matrix for dendrobe plantation is composed of, by weight, 30-40% of thoroughly-decomposed organic fertilizer, 4-6% of unslaked lime and 55-65% of wood chip. Firstly, the thoroughly-decomposed organic fertilizers are evenly mixed with the unslaked lime and then, the mixture is mixed with the wood chips and piled up for 30-40 days, so that the mixture naturally ferments; secondly, the ground is divided into multiple rectangular plantation land pieces which are 300-360cm wide. The middle axis of each rectangular plantation land piece serves as a high point and slope faces with the 7%-10% gradient are sorted out towards two sides; the slope faces are smooth and dense and firm plastic cloth is laid along each slope face; a part of each slope foot is exposed out of the ground, wherein the part of the slope foot is 4-6cm long. Afterwards, the prepared matrix is evenly laid on the plastic cloth to form a matrix layer which is 12-15cm thick. The materials of the matrix can be easily obtained and a special plantation seedling bed is not needed as the rectangular plantation land pieces are sorted out, the investment cost of plantation of dendrobe is greatly reduced and the plantation effect is good.
