The organic soil water-retaining agent is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 40-60 parts of modified konjaku flour, 10-20 parts of fulvic acid, 3-8 parts of potassiumhydroxide, 1-5 parts of ferroussulfate, 3-8 parts of urea and 18-25 parts of cellulose.
