The method comprises the steps of weighing raw materials, namely straw powder, linear low-density polyethylene, isopropyl benzene hydroperoxide, dibutyl tin diacetate, organosilane, dibutyl maleate and dibasic lead stearate, according to the following mass ratio of (10-50): (30-60): (0.05-2): (0.02-2): (10-15): (2-8): (0.3-4.5), uniformly mixing the raw materials in a high-speed stirrer so as to prepare a mixed material, then, reacting and extruding in a twin-screw extruder so as to prepare an extruded material, and pressing a die containing the extruded material on a plate vulcanizing machine, thereby preparing the polyethylene-based wood-plastic composite material.
