Abstract

The method comprises the following steps: firstly, inoculating a sludge from partial nitrification and from an anaerobic ammonium oxidation reactor, gradually increasing the concentration of influent ammonia nitrogen under the condition of intermittent aeration, starting, and changing the aeration mode into a continuous aeration mode by shortening the time of the anaerobic stage, so as to start a one-step autotrophic nitrogen removal system. After the starting is successful, a stable microbial community structure is created through a method of controlling the proportion of the flocculent sludge and the granular sludge, and the reaction period is adjusted according to the operation condition of the system to achieve efficient nitrogen removal of the system.
