Problems solved by technology

At present, the main drugs for the treatment of hyperlipidemia are statins, fibrates, niacin, and bile acid chelating agents, etc., but long-term use of these drugs can cause elevated transaminases, which have certain damage to the liver and kidneys. In severe cases, it may cause acute renal failure

Embodiment Construction

[0015] The technical solutions of the present invention will be described in detail below in conjunction with the embodiments.

[0016] experimental method:

[0017] 1. Establishment of animal models

[0018] Take 60 C57BL / 6 male mice, weighing 18-20 g, aged 6 weeks. After one week of adaptation, the mice were randomly divided into: normal chow diet group (Normal chow diet, NCD, also known as blank group), Western type diet group (Western type diet, WD, also known as model group), lovastatin group (Lovastatin, LOV) , HMF low-dose group (HMF-L) and HMF high-dose group (HMF-H), except the normal diet group, other groups were fed with Western-style diet. WD feed formula is: 1.25% cholesterol, 20% lard, 5% sucrose, 0.5% cholic acid, vitamins adjusted to normal levels.

[0019] 2. Administration dose and administration method: WD-induced hyperlipidemia experiment was carried out by intragastric administration in mice. Modeling began to administer, and NCD and WD were given the ...

Abstract

The invention discloses application of polyoxymethylflavone, a polyoxymethylflavone composition and a polyoxymethylflavone preparation for prevention or treatment of hyperlipidemia. The active ingredient of a drug for the prevention or treatment of the hyperlipidemia comprises polyoxymethylflavone, wherein the polyoxymethylflavone refers to 3,5,6,7,8,3',4'-heptamethoxyflavones, and the active ingredient further comprises pharmaceutically acceptable carriers or excipients so as to be prepared into a pharmaceutically acceptable dosage form. The high level of either of the total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG) and low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-c) of plasma can cause the hyperlipidemia. The invention confirms that 3,5,6,7,8,3',4'-heptamethoxyflavones (HMF) can significantly reduce the levels of the TG, the TC and the LDL-c, significantly increase the level of HDL-C in the plasma, and prevent or treat the hyperlipidemia.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of medicine and relates to new applications of natural products, in particular to the application of polymethoxylated flavones, compositions and preparations thereof in the prevention or treatment of hyperlipidemia. Background technique [0002] Hyperlipidemia is a metabolic disease in which one or more lipids in plasma are higher than normal due to abnormal fat metabolism or operation. Atherosclerosis caused by deposits. Hyperlipidemia is closely related to cardiovascular diseases, and is the complication and predisposing factor of atherosclerosis, fatty liver, coronary heart disease, diabetes, obesity and other diseases. At present, the main drugs for the treatment of hyperlipidemia are statins, fibrates, niacin, and bile acid chelating agents, etc., but long-term use of these drugs can cause elevated transaminases, which have certain damage to the liver and kidneys. In severe cases, it may cause acute renal failu...
