Abstract

The invention discloses a method for preparing an aluminum-plated polycarbonate fiber conductive material. The method is characterized by comprising the following steps: (1) washing polycarbonate fibers; (2) immersing with ITO (Indium Tin Oxide) sol; (3) carrying out sensitizing treatment; (4) washing with water. According to the method disclosed by the invention, an ITO sol layer is introduced between an aluminum layer and the polycarbonate fibers; the ITO sol layer is introduced so that on one hand, the affinity between a metal monomer and a fiber polymer can be solved and the binding strength of a silver layer and the fiber is improved; on the other hand, the ITO sol layer is introduced so that an ITO-Al composite structure is constructed on the surface of the fiber; the conductive performance of silver-plated conductive fibers can be remarkably improved by utilizing the structure and the thickness of a plated layer can also be reduced. Furthermore, the sensitizing treatment is carried out by a mixed solution of SnCl2 and PdCl2, so that the surface of the fiber has metal salt with relatively low activity of the SnCl2 and the PdCl2, and a relatively good environment is provided for a subsequent aluminum reduction process.
