The preparation method comprises the following steps: adding polyvinyl alcohol and water into a reactor, heating the reactor to completely dissolve polyvinyl alcohol, then cooling the reactor, adding an emulsifier, ammonium persulfate, and vinyl acetate, carrying out emulsification, heating, dropwise adding vinyl acetate, butyl acrylate, and hydroxyethyl acrylate, adding a coupling agent, negative ion powder, and adipic dihydrazide, heating, maintaining the temperature, cooling, adding kaolin and starch, cooling, adding dibutyl ester and a mold inhibitor, and evenly stirring to obtain the negative ion aldehyde-capturing white latex.
