Abstract

The invention provides a liquid crystal emulsion containing lecithin which comprises the following components: 2-8% lecithin, 1-5% coemulsifier, 10-30% liquid grease, 1-10% solid grease, 0.01-1% of preservative and the balance of water. The invention also provides a method for preparing the liquid crystal emulsion containing lecithin. The method comprises the following steps: firstly, dissolving coemulsifier in an oil phase; simultaneously heating the oil phase and water phase to 70-90 DEG C; homogenizing the water phase; slowly adding the oil phase into the water phase; and stirring and cooling to room temperature, thereby acquiring the liquid crystal emulsion containing Maltese cross. The Maltese cross liquid crystal can be observed in the liquid crystal emulsion under a polarizing microscope.
