Abstract

A synergistic composition used for rice sheath blight control and application thereof are disclosed. Phenazine-1-carboxamide and fluazinam which are two agents are measured by a mycelial growth rate process, and the synergistic potential of the composition for rice sheath blight control is evaluated by adopting a Wadley method. Results prove that the phenazine-1-carboxamide and fluazinam can suppress rice sheath blight. After composition of the two agents, the composition of the two agents in a ratio of 3:7 or 1:1 has synergistic effect on rice sheath blight, with the synergistic effect beingoptimum when the ratio is 1:1 and the synergistic coefficient SR being 1.85. An in-vitro control result shows that the control effect of the composition of the phenazine-1-carboxamide and fluazinam ina ratio of 1:1 is 82.89%, and the composition can be adopted as a novel agent for rice sheath blight control.
