The dispersion system mainly comprises the following components: a component a: any hydroxy acid with low possibility of internal dehydration reaction, or a mixture of any two or more hydroxy acids with low possibility of internal dehydration reaction; a component b: any compound(s) on which catalytic polymerization can be carried out through active hydrogen; a component c: a catalyst; a component d: acrylic acid and an acrylic ester monomer; and a component e: a waterborne polyisocyanate curing agent. A dispersion modification method and two-component polyurethane dispersions, which are obtained after crosslinking of dispersions obtained through the method and hydroxyl functional group reactants, can be used in industrial fields such as high-grade automobile finish paint and leather; through hydroxy acid modification, a product obtained from the catalytic polymerization through the active hydrogen can be effectively introduced into the system, and the system can effectively achieve the waterborne property through the product; and moreover, different products obtained from the catalytic polymerization through the active hydrogen can be introduced to effectively overcome the defects of two-component polyurethane, reduce the system viscosity,and improve the gloss and fullness of a resin paint film.
