Abstract

The invention discloses a graphene microchip and aluminium trioxide mixture reinforced aluminum-based composite material and a preparation method thereof. The aluminum-based composite material is prepared from the following components of, by weight, 0.01-3% of nickel-plated graphene, and the balance of aluminum powder. The preparation method comprises the following steps that 1, nickel plating iscarried out on the surface of graphene, and the surface of the graphene is activated and sensitized; 2, wet-process ball milling is carried out on the nickel-plated graphene after surface treatment and aluminum powder by using alcohol as a solvent; 3, suction filtration and drying are carried out on on the wet mixed powder, and then a cold pressing die is used for pressing the powder into a pieceon an oil press; and 4, the laminated composite powder is placed into a graphite die for hot-pressing low-vacuum sintering under a vacuum and argon protective atmosphere. According to the method, thegraphene is plated with nickel to eliminate agglomeration in graphene powder, a nickel-plated layer and the low-vacuum hot-pressing sintering method are utilized, so that the interface reaction between the graphene and an aluminum alloy matrix is controlled, and a theoretical basis is provided for the research of the graphene reinforced aluminum-based composite material.
