Abstract

The invention relates to the technical field of glue application, in particular to an application method of high-viscosity water-resistant glue on a plate. The method comprises the following steps: 1)cleaning to-be-glued surfaces of two plates to be glued; 2) coating the to-be-glued surface of one plate with high-viscosity water-resistant glue; and 3) bonding the plate coated with the glue with the bonding surface of another plate. The high-viscosity water-resistant glue comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 80-120 parts of vinyl acetate, 5-10 parts of a colloid protectiveagent, 1-2 parts of an emulsifier, 0.8-1.2 parts of an initiator, 1-5 parts of a thickener, 1-2 parts of a preservative, 0.5-1.5 parts of a defoaming agent, 2-6 parts of a pH regulator and 60-100 parts of deionized water. According to the application method, high-viscosity water-resistant glue is adopted for splicing the plates. The glue has the advantages of high viscosity, good water resistance, excellent rapid adhesive property, firmness, difficult shedding, low cost, safety and environmental protection.
