Embodiment 1

[0338] For the salt-forming compound composed of a xanthene-based cationic dye (A-1) and an organic anion (B-1) obtained in Synthesis Example 4, a spectrophotometer (manufactured by Hitachi, Ltd., U-3000) UV-Vis absorption spectrometry was carried out. Assays were performed at room temperature using PGME as solvent. The maximum absorption wavelength in the visible light region was determined from the obtained ultraviolet-visible absorption spectrum. In addition, using a thermogravimetric measurement-differential thermal analysis device (manufactured by Mac Systems Co., Ltd., TG-DTA 2000S type), TG-DTA measurement was performed under a nitrogen stream (sample weight: 5 ± 1.5 mg, heating rate: 20°C / min) to determine the 5% weight loss temperature.
