Abstract

The invention provides an electrodeposition impurity removing process for 6N copper electrolyte. The electrodeposition impurity removing process comprises the following steps that A) hydrogen peroxideis added into the 6N copper electrolyte to be purified, and pretreatment is carried out, wherein the adding amount of the hydrogen peroxide accounts for 0.1% to 1% of the amount of the 6N copper electrolyte; and B) a cathode and an anode are placed in the solution pretreated in the step A) for electrodeposition, filtering and impurity removing are carried out after electrodeposition, and the electrolyte obtained after impurity removing is returned to a 6N copper electrolysis system. According to the electrodeposition impurity removing process, electrodeposition is carried out in an oxidationenvironment, copper and some impurities can be separated out on the cathode to form fine black powder, the fine black powder has reducibility, arsenic, stibium, bismuth and other impurities in the 6Ncopper electrolyte can be reduced into elementary substances, and the impurities are removed through filtering; the impurity removing process is simple, actual industrial treatment is benefited, acidcan be generated in the electrodeposition process to consume copper ions, acid consumption is reduced, and meanwhile the problem that acid and copper are not balanced during impurity removal of an electrodeposition method is solved; and no new impurity is introduced in the whole impurity removing process.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of metallurgy, and in particular relates to an electrowinning impurity removal process for 6N copper electrolyte. Background technique [0002] Copper is one of the most widely used metals in the world. The color of pure copper is purple-red and the density is 8.92g / cm 3 , The melting point is 1083°C, and the boiling point is 2567°C. Copper has good properties such as corrosion resistance, plasticity, and ductility. It also has high thermal conductivity and high electrical conductivity, and can also form alloys with other metals. [0003] Compared with ordinary copper, ultra-high-purity copper has many excellent properties, and can even be used to replace some high-cost metals. It is currently widely used in cutting-edge technology fields such as electronics, communications, superconductivity, and aerospace. [0004] Copper smelting is roughly divided into three categories: hydrometallurgy, pyrometallurgy and electro...
