Embodiment 1

Abstract

The invention discloses a surface alloying method for improving the water corrosion resistance of refractory metal molybdenum, which is divided into two parts: preparation of experimental samples and ion irradiation. The irradiation experimental samples are prepared by powder metallurgy method, and the samples are placed in a high vacuum In the irradiation chamber, the surface of the sample is irradiated with Nb ions at 30‑100 °C, and the selected dose is 2‑4*10 16 ion / cm 2 , the acceleration voltage is 300-400KeV, and the average atomic dislocation energy is 25-35eV, and the molybdenum sample with surface alloying is obtained. The surface alloyed samples were tested by XRD, microhardness, electrochemical dynamic polarization, and impedance tests to detect and evaluate the phase, mechanical properties, and corrosion resistance before and after irradiation. The refractory metal molybdenum treated by this method has good corrosion resistance, greatly improves the failure life of molybdenum in high-temperature water medium, and provides scientific guidance for the application of molybdenum and its alloys in the field of nuclear power .
