Abstract

The invention provides a preparation method of a lithium battery fire gel dry water fire extinguishing agent. The preparation method comprises the steps of adding gellan gum, gelatin, carrageenan, agar and polyvinyl alcohol into deionized water, and stirring to obtain a mixed sol solution; uniformly mixing the mixed sol solution with a water glass solution; slowly dropwise adding a concentrated strong acid solution into the uniformly-mixed mixed solution until the pH value reaches 7 to 9 to form hydrogel; and crushing the hydrogel, adding the hydrophobic silicon dioxide and the crushed hydrogel into a stirrer to be stirred to obtain the gel dry water fire extinguishing agent. The gel dry water fire extinguishing agent is good in stability and convenient to store and transport; the flowability, dispersity and cooling performance are good, and rapid fire extinguishing and continuous cooling are facilitated; and the fire extinguishing agent is non-toxic, harmless, free of secondary pollution, non-conductive, easy to clean after fire extinguishing, and beneficial for inhibiting reburning of a lithium battery fire.
