The O-shaped ring material comprises the following components in parts by weight: 15-30 parts of natural rubber, 15-20 parts of synthetic resin, 20-40 parts of polyurethane, 2-3 parts of micron sized silica aerogel, 1-3 parts of sodium antimonate, 1-3 parts of jade powder, 2-7 parts of diisononyl phthalate, 3-7 parts of inorganic silicate material, 2-5 parts of zinc borate, 3-7 parts of zinc oxide, 1-3 parts of stearic acid, 4-8 parts of zinc methacrylate, 3-6 parts of plasticizer, 3-8 parts of zinc diethyl dithiocarbamaate, 1-6 parts of anti-aging agent, 5-15 parts of butadiene-styrene rubber, 1-3 parts of accelerant, 0.5-1 part of benzoic acid, and 3-8 parts of high abrasion furnace black. The O-shaped ring for an automobile provided by the invention is high in strength, excellent in wear-resisting property, good in oil resistance and solvent resistance, and especially good in swelling resistance for lubricating oil and fuel oil, and good in ozone resistance; and the service life and the product performance stability of the O-shaped ring for the automobile are improved.
