Abstract

An aqueous intumescent painting composition and refractory coating materials prepared by the composition are disclosed. The aqueous intumescent painting composition includes at least a carrier, 10-30% by weight, which is selected from aqueous vinyl acetate-silane copolymer, aqueous ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, aqueous butyl acrylate copolymer and aqueous vinyl acetate-acrylic ester copolymer, 5-15 wt.% of charring material, 15-35 wt.% of multi-ammonium phosphate which is suffered surface treatment using a catalyzer, 5-15 wt.% of foaming agent, 2-10 wt.% mineral fibre as insulated material, 2-10 wt.% of dyed material and 2-6 wt.% of additive.
