Abstract

A ready-for-use hair bleaching composition obtained by mixing before use of an anhydrous bleaching composition in paste form and an oil-in-water emulsion of hydrogen peroxide comprising one or more non-ionic and / or anionic surfactants and one or more copolymers comprising one or more units derived from an ethylenically unsaturated monomer with a sulfonic group in a free or partially or totally neutralized form and at least one hydrophobic part. The anhydrous bleaching composition comprises one or more peroxygenated salts, an alkaline agent and 15-35 wt.% of one or more inert organic liquids. Independent claims are included for a method of bleaching hair by applying the ready- to-use composition, allowing to stand (1-60 minutes), rinsing with water, shampooing and optionally drying and for a kit comprising at least two compartments, one of which contains the anhydrous composition and another the oil-in-water hydrogen peroxide emulsion.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a composition for bleaching keratin fibers, a method for bleaching keratin fibers using the composition and a multi-compartment device comprising the composition. Background technique [0002] For bleaching human keratin fibers, especially hair, it is known to use bleaching compositions containing one or more oxidizing agents. Among the commonly used oxidizing agents, mention may be made of hydrogen peroxide or compounds capable of generating hydrogen peroxide by hydrolysis, for example urea or persalts such as perborates, persulfates and percarbonates. [0003] Initially, bleaching compositions were powders. However, they have the disadvantage of generating dust during handling, transport and storage. Moreover, this phenomenon is aggravated by the nature of the product itself, that is, products composed of powders are corrosive and irritating to eyes, respiratory tract and mucous membranes. Therefore, in order to so...
