Abstract

The present invention discloses the use of ammidin in preparing medicine for treating cardiac and cerebral vascular diseases. Experiments shows that ammidin has obvious blood vessel relaxing effect, and can relax KCl and ET-1 pre-retracted rat arteria mesenterica and NA and U46619 pre-retracted human caul artery. Ammidin relaxes blood vessel without dependent on endothelial cell. Ammidin relaxes blood vessel mainly by means of inhibiting the outer calcium inflow and the inner calcium release mediated by the voltage depending calcium channel and acceptor calcium channel and slightly depending on KCa channel. Ammidin may be used in preparing medicine for treating cardiac and cerebral vascular diseases.
