The invention relates to a feeding management method to reduce PSE (pale, soft and exudative) meat in lean pigs. Full feeding is performed in the early stage with high-
protein daily ration so that lean
weight increasing is effective; fat deposition in the later stage is faster; the lean ratio is continuously decreased; in the later stage of addition, the feeding quantity is increased; therefore, high lean yield can be achieved by limiting the total feeding quantity and controlling fat deposition. Music is played when pigs are bathed, so that the influence of
heat stress upon pigs can be effectively reduced,
immune reaction and carcass quality can be improved for the pigs, and stress reaction in the pigs is relieved;
water temperature and
flushing time are reasonably controlled during pig flushing, certain anti-stress effect is created for the pigs, and chances for PSE meat in the lean pigs to occur can be effectively decreased; in pig feed, the addition of suitable
sodium selenite andvarious vitamins can effectively relieve body
oxidative injury and liver functional damage of animals due to the intake of mycotoxins,
selenium deposition in
muscle tissues is increased, stress is relieved, and pork quality is improved.
