A foldable paper sheet is formed having a sheet body portion, a sheet lower side flap extending out from a lower side edge of the sheet body portion, a pocket panel extending out from a bottom edge of the sheet body portion, and a pocket side flap extending out from a side edge of the pocket panel. The pocket side flap is folded in towards the pocket panel, the pocket panel is folded up and the pocket side flap is glued to the back face of the sheet body portion. The sheet lower side flap is folded and glued to the pocket panel. The pocket panel is thereby secured along both side edges to the sheet body portion, has an open top and thus defines a pocket on the back of the sheet body portion. The pocket panel can have a finger notch at the center of its top edge. A tab is cut out of the edge portion of the sheet body portion to form a tabbed divider sheet. The tab advantageously can be formed at any location along the edge portion including at a lower location directly adjacent to the pocket. Binder holes were punched in the paper preferably during an early production step of the foldable paper sheet. Binder holes in the pocket panel, the side edge flap and the sheet body portion are in alignment with the foldable paper sheet folded and glued. Two of the binder holes in the body portion are spaced above the pocket, and to reinforce these holes the sheet includes an upper side flap. This flap also has two binder holes which with the flap folded onto and glued to the back of the body portion align with the two body portion holes.

This invention provides a padfolio, portfolio or other foldable business accessory that is organized with three hinged leaves (including two main leaves and one overriding leaf that folds over the main leaves when closed together) that may be unfolded and laid flat to expose various internal elements within an overall interior. The elements are organized so that a notepad is provided in a center leaf, while one of the opposing side leaves include a raised clock base having a well or recess for securing a clock having a folding stand that can be raised into an angled, standing position from a flat position. One main leaf also includes a support base that removably supports a personal digital assistant (PDA), that is normally secured flat against the leaf, but that can be hinged upwardly into at least one adjustable angled position whereby the PDA is tilted for easier viewing whilst working in another area of the padfolio, such as the notepad. In this manner, it is more accessible and easier to use. During folding of the leaves, both the clock and the PDA can be secured in a flat orientation for compact storage. The leaves can include, variously, a series of pockets and sleeves for carrying documents, effects and business accessories. In an illustrative embodiment, the a leftmost main leaf can include the pockets the PDA, the center leaf can include the notepad and the overriding leaf includes the clock.

A padfolio having, along at least one cover's interior, a raised, substantially rigid tray structure that defines plurality of compartments with dividing walls therebetween is provided. The surface of the tray structure is covered in a fastener material that removably interengages with an opposing fastener material that is applied to a set of pockets, pouches, electronic devices, pen holders, clocks, calculators and other items. In one embodiment, the fastener material consists of a loop material formed along the tray and a hook material attached to an underside of each of the various attachable items. In this manner, the pockets, pouches or other items can be freely or variably placed anywhere along the loop surface, in any of the compartments, at a wide variety of locations therein. A pen holder for the padfolio or other business accessory is constructed from a flexible material that defines a barrel with a top slot formed between a pair of opposing side walls and a base. The side walls include undulating top edges that define the slot and facilitate passage of the pen therethrough. The penholder can have a linear groove along the base on the barrel interior to guide a stitch for fixed attachment to the padfolio or other business accessory.

The present invention is a foldable clipboard that generally comprises a flat board with an upper end and a lower end. Each flat board includes a writing surface and a rear surface. The foldable clipboard further includes an engagement means that engages the flat boards and an attachment means proximate the upper end of the writing surface. The plurality of folding serrations allows the clipboard to be in open and closed positions and provides a continuous and smooth writing surface when in an open position. The foldable clipboard protects the paper by providing an external cover in the closed position. The clipboard may include locking means to prevent unwanted movement and ensure a flat writing surface in an open position.

A double album of photograph display includes two mirror image portions located on opposite sides of a central web. Each mirror image portion is formed with a stiff, rectangular outer cover panel, an intermediate end panel, and a stiff inner cover panel. A packet of photograph mounting sheets is secured to the inside surface of the end panel of each mirror image portion of the base structure. Each of the photograph mounting sheets is capable of mounting at least one photograph. Preferably, pockets are provided in each photograph mounting sheet to accommodate a plurality of photographs in each mounting sheet. Photograph viewing windows are formed through the inner cover panels. Mutually engageable fasteners on each side of the central web may be provided to hold each packet within the confines of its associated outer and inner cover panel and the end panel to which the packet is secured. The album may be used as a freestanding structure whereby photographs in the viewing windows of the inner cover panels are displayed much in the manner of a freestanding frame for a plurality of photographs. When the fasteners are disengaged, the photograph mounting pages within both packets are accessible for viewing concurrently. The album may also be completely folded into a compact, generally rectangular book-like structure and stored in a book case, if desired.

A book holder for supporting and protecting an article of reading material is provided. The book holder includes a spine, a pair of cover panels, each of the cover panels is hingidly to the spine permitting the pair of cover panels to be rotated into an open position and to be rotated into a closed position. The book holder is adapted to receive and support an article of reading material in an open position when the book holder is open and for enclosing and protecting the reading material when the book holder is closed. A page holder assembly is provided to hold the reading material open and for marking a page. The invention is an integrated shopping list and coupon folder, formed from a single shopping list sheet. Major food and non-food category listings are provided on the shopping list sheet, as well as blank lines for listing individual items, sizes, brands, and the like. Coupon reminders are also located proximate to each blank line. A guide apparatus for applying a cover to a bound stack of sheets, including a base unit which defines a book receiving surface and a first alignment member having a lower cover stop disposed along a reference line, and a first upper cover stop also disposed along the first reference line. A first book stop is included defining a stack engaging surface which is positioned intermediate the cover engaging surfaces of the first upper and lower cover stops and with said stack engaging surface extending a distance past said first reference line towards the book receiving surface. The first upper and lower cover stops are positioned to engage top and bottom cover sections of the cover, with the stack engaging surface being positioned to contact the edge of the stack so as to precisely align the stack with respect to the top and bottom cover sections in one direction. A second alignment member includes elements similar to that of the first alignment member so as to precisely the align the stack with respect to the top and bottom cover sections long a second reference line normal to the first reference line.

A portable metal document container comprising a cover with a first organizer module coupled with the interior surface of the cover. An integral tab system for a 2-D or 3-D tab for a folder, and a method of making same is disclosed. The integral 2-D (flat) tab (20) is provided in the hanging folder itself without the need for additional tabs being affixed. The 3-D tab version (120) is created by an extension which is folded onto itself so that one edge surface is at an angle relative to the panels of the file folder allowing it to be read from the side. These tabs may also be supplied in a detachable form.
