Abstract

A method to prepare polyaluminiumchloride from kaolinite ore comprises the steps that: kaolinite ore and lime, or kaolinite ore, lime and gypsum are respectively smashed, and ground to as fine as lower than 200 meshes; a storage tank of the materials is added with water, the ratio between the total weight of solid materials and water is 1: 1 to 3, then all powder materials are put into the storage tank with a proportion of kaolinite : lime 1.0 : 0.3 to 1.0, or kaolinite : lime : gypsum 1 : 0.3 to 1.0 : 0.03 to 0.10, and stirred and mixed. The well mixed materials are transferred into a high pressure reaction vessel, filled with high pressure steam, a hydrothermal reaction is taken placed at a temperature ranging from 130 DEG C to 250 DEG C, and the system is kept at the constant temperature for 5 to 24 hours.
