Abstract

The invention discloses super weatherability nano-compound modified polyester powder coating and a preparation method thereof. The invention is characterized in that 0.1 to 0.4 portion of inorganic nano-powder treated by an ultra-high speed mixing-high energy grinding surface modification, 0.05 to 0.4 portion of organic ultraviolet light absorbent, and 2 to 5 portions of powder coating basic polyester resin are squeezed for pelleting by premixing and melting. 2 to 6 portions of the obtained master grains and 32 to 66 portions of polyester resin, 3 to 8 portions of firming agent, 15 to 30 portions of inorganic fillings and 2 to 10 portions of other addition agents are prepared into the super weatherability nano-compound modified polyester powder coating by the working procedures of pre-mixing, melting and squeezing, cooling, cracking, fine cracking and grading and sieving. The weatherability thereof is improved by 3.5 to 13.7 times than the weatherability of common unmodified polyester powder coating; meanwhile the mechanical properties like coating adhesive force, impact resistance and rigidity as well as the chemical mediator resistant performances like hydrochloric acid resistance, boiling water resistance and solvent resistance are also improved to a certain extent. The invention can not obviously increase the cost; the production technique flows of the modified coating and production devices are basically unchanged; the achievement is easy to be popularized and applied.
