The invention discloses a method for preparing tea saponin by using tea seed degreased dregs, which comprises the following process steps of: firstly extracting by using high-concentration aqueous methanol, recovering methanol from an extraction liquid to prepare coarse tea saponin pasty liquid, and then purifying by adopting a three-purification method. Chitosan is used as a flocculating agent in the first purification to filter and remove partial impurities; a calcium hydroxide emulsion is used as a precipitating agent in the second purification, so that the tea saponin is converted into tea saponin calcium to be precipitated and separated from the water-soluble impurities, then the tea saponin calcium is converted into the tea saponin to be dissolved in water by using ammonium hydrogencarbonate, the impurities are further removed through filtration, then 30% hydrogen peroxide is used for decoloring, and the finished product of the tea saponin is prepared finally through spray drying. A solid obtained after separating and recovering the methanol from a methanol-contained solid obtained after extraction can be used as livestock feed.
