Fabrics made of the polyester fibers of the invention are good in pilling resistance and good in light fastness, and can be dyed into various beautiful colors by means of the normal-pressure cationic dyeability of the fibers, thereby meeting the uniform requirements of the present high-grade spring-summer dresses for functionality and colors; the obtained polyester fibers also can be subjected to apposition dyeing with wool; and as being blended with wool, good dressing effect can be obtained. The polyester fiber of the invention is an important supplement for the cationic dyeable polyester market at present in China.
