Abstract

The invention discloses an oil-in-water type sodium nitroprusside-garlic oil nanoemulsion antihypertensive drug. The nanoemulsion antihypertensive drug has a particle size in a range of from 15.7 to 50.4 nm and an average particle size of 32.9 nm. Raw materials for the drug comprise, by mass percentage, 1% to 20% of sodium nitroprusside, 10% to 35% of surfactant, 0 to 25% of cosurfactant and 1% to 20% garlic oil, with the balance being distilled water, wherein the sum of the mass percentage of the raw materials is 100%. Nanoemulsion provided in the invention has small and uniformly-distributed emulsion droplet particles, low viscosity and good fluidity. In the dosage form of nanoemulsion, the water-soluble drug sodium nitroprusside and fat-soluble garlic oil are organically combined together, which improves the solubility and permeability of garlic oil and the stability and efficacy of sodium nitroprusside. When the dosage form of nanoemulsion is prepared from sodium nitroprusside and garlic oil, the advantages of both sodium nitroprusside and garlic oil are combined; therefore, an antihypertensive effect of the drug provided in the invention is obviously improved, the half life of the drug is prolonged, and administration frequency is reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of medicine and relates to a new dosage form of an antihypertensive drug sodium nitroprusside and garlic oil, in particular to an oil-in-water type sodium nitroprusside and garlic oil nanoemulsion antihypertensive drug. [0002] Background technique [0002] Sodium nitroprussate is a reddish-brown crystal or powder, odorless or almost odorless. This product is a fast-acting and short-acting vasodilator. It has a direct expansion effect on both arterial and venous smooth muscle, but does not affect the contraction of the uterus, duodenum or myocardium; it does not change much the local blood flow distribution. Vasodilation reduces peripheral vascular resistance, thus lowering blood pressure. Vasodilation reduces the preload and afterload of the heart and improves cardiac output, so it is beneficial to heart failure. Afterload reduction reduces valvular insufficiency by reducing aortic and left ventricular impedan...
