The invention discloses a marsh gas power generation method which comprises the following steps of: wetting the smashed straw and water at a mass ratio of 1:2, adding an inoculum, and carrying out stack retting in a stirring way for 3-7 days; adding fresh chicken manure into a fermentation tank, and adding water to prepare a mixture of which the moisture content is 91%-95% to carry out anaerobic fermentation, wherein the temperature is 35-50DEG C, the pH value is 6.8-7.2, and the fermentation time is from 12 hours to 5 days; and educing the generated marsh gas, desulfuring by a biological desulphurization method, storing the marsh gas by a wet type marsh gas storing cabinet, generating the electricity by adopting a pure marsh gas internal combustion engine generator set with a function of combined heat and power generation, discharging mixed liquid materials, and classifying by means of solid-liquid separation.
