Abstract

The invention discloses a method for producing low-iron limestone. The method comprises the following operation steps: weighing the following raw materials in parts by weight: 80-120 parts of hydrochloric acid with the weight percentage of 10-20%, 80-150 parts of acetic acid with the weight percentage of 25-35% and 0-20 parts of phosphorus trichloride with the weight percentage of 5-15%; uniformly mixing the raw materials so as to obtain a mixture A; mixing the mixture A with water according to a weight ratio of 1:(50-200); uniformly stirring so as to obtain a mixture B; heating limestone powder to the temperature of 70-90 DEG C in a thermostat; feeding the limestone powder into the upper layer of a stirring box; mixing the limestone powder with the mixture B according to a weight ratio of 1:(2-4); stirring for 1-3 minutes; feeding into the stirring box middle layer provided with a screening net at the bottom; filtering; feeding a filtered solution into the lower layer of the stirring box; drying the limestone powder.
