Abstract

The invention relates to a method for measuring the content of a phenolic antioxidant for a tobacco hot melt adhesive. The method is characterized by comprising the steps of firstly ultrasonically extracting the phenolic antioxidant in a tobacco hot melt adhesive sample by virtue of tetrahydrofuran, then adding a C18 dispersive solid-phase extraction agent and a diluting solvent, sequentially carrying out vortex vibration and centrifugal separation, analyzing a supernate filtering membrane by virtue of an ultra performance liquid chromatography instrument, and quantitatively determining the content of the phenolic antioxidant in a hot melt adhesive sample solution by virtue of an external standard method. The method has the specific advantages that (1) aiming at the properties of small dead volume and high sensitivity of the UPLC (ultra performance liquid chromatography) instrument, a sample pretreatment method is developed in a targeted manner, and C18 bonded silica gel serving as the dispersive solid-phase extraction agent and a certain proportion of the diluting solvent are added, so that the interference of non-target objects in a matrix is greatly reduced; (2) by optimizing conditions of the UPLC according to the characteristics of a target compound, a novel rapid analysis method is established, and the determination time is less than 20 minutes.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of tobacco analysis, and in particular relates to a method for determining the content of phenolic antioxidants in hot melt adhesives for cigarettes. The method can be used to simply, quickly and accurately determine the contents of eight antioxidants in hot melt adhesives for cigarettes. All measurements can be completed within 20 minutes. Background technique [0002] Antioxidants are widely used in polymers such as rubber, plastics and adhesives to prevent polymer materials from losing strength and toughness due to oxidative degradation. Hot melt adhesives for cigarettes are often used to form filter rods, and need to be heated and melted during use. Therefore, a certain amount of antioxidants are often added to the production process of hot melt adhesives to enhance product stability. Food contact material regulations and standards at home and abroad stipulate the permitted use of antioxidants and use r...
