Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical field of optical fiber communication, and particularly relates to a method for storing optical fiber communication data. According to the method, optical fiber channel software and hardware are analyzed through collection and storage of the data in an optical fiber channel, and the data transmitted in the optical fiber channel in a certain period of time can be completely stored so as to analyze data format and an optical fiber communication system, thereby being beneficial for the research of optical communication equipment and test of optical transmission system characteristics, and preventing hidden dangers in the software and the hardware. The method fully utilizes the field programmable gate array (FPGA) hardware functions, guarantees reliability of data acquisition and real-time requirement of the whole system. The collected data is added with a frame header and a frame trail for framing, and the frame tail comprises useful information like data length and cyclic redundancy check (CRC) sum, so that the optical fiber channel is guaranteed to be more fully analyzed through the collected data. A peripheral component interface express (PCIe) bus structure is fully utilized to transmit data and a ping-pong mode is used for storing transmitted data, so that key technologies like continuous sampling and uninterrupted transmission and so on are realized, and data loss is prevented.
