The prepared wheat straw and hydrotalcite composite material has the advantages as follows: (1), hydrotalcite is immobilized to the wheat straw through epoxy resin, the characteristics of small density and large specific surface area of the wheat straw can be played, and further, the advantage that the hydrotalcite has high adsorption capacity on heavy metal cobalt ions is used; (2), compared with hydrotalcite powder, the composite material solves the problems of clustering and caking of the hydrotalcite powder and reduced cobalt ion adsorption and can solve the problem of secondary pollution caused by the fact that the hydrotalcite for adsorbing cobalt ions is difficult to recover; (3), compared with the wheat straw, the composite material increases the cobalt ion saturation adsorption quantity greatly and avoids overflow pollution of organic carbon of the wheat straw in a water treatment process.
