Abstract

The invention provides a method for separation and determination of arsenic in PM2.5. According to the method, nitric acid with a concentration of 1% is used as an extraction solvent, and high performance liquid chromatography and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer are used in combination for extraction and determination of arsenic forms in PM2.5. The method can completely separate arsenic of four different forms within 10 min, wherein the arsenic forms include trivalent arsenic [As(III)], pentavalent arsenic [As(IV)] monomethyl arsenic (MMA) and dimethyl arsenic (DMA); the detection limit of the method is in a range of 0.6 to 1 [mu]g/L; the precision degrees of As(III), DMA, MMA and As(IV) are 1.26%, 1.24%, 1.00% and 0.79%, respectively; and obvious conversion among the four arsenic forms does not occur during determination.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention discloses a method for detecting air pollutants, and in particular discloses a separation and determination method for detecting arsenic in PM2.5. Background technique [0002] Arsenic is a metalloid element widely present in the environment, and its average concentration in the earth's crust is 4.8±0.5mgkg -1 . There are two main sources of arsenic in the environment: natural pathways and human activities. Volcanic eruptions are the main natural source of arsenic. The burning of fossil fuels, metal smelting and the use of arsenic-containing herbicides are the main anthropogenic sources of arsenic in the global atmosphere. Arsenic exists in the environment in the form of many different compounds. The physicochemical properties of different forms of arsenic compounds are different. It is generally believed that the toxicity of inorganic arsenic is stronger than that of organic arsenic, and the toxicity of As(III) is much greater than tha...
