Abstract

The invention discloses a pharmaceutical composition of ambroxol hydrochloride and application thereof in biological medicines. The pharmaceutical composition of ambroxol hydrochloride provided by the invention comprises ambroxol hydrochloride, and a natural product compound (I) which has a novel structure and is separated from dried roots and rhizomes of Notopterygium incisum. The composition of ambroxol hydrochloride and the compound (I) provided by the invention can significantly reduce the concentration of angiotensin II and the activity of renin in a hypertensive rat model; meanwhile, the effects of the composition are superior to the independent effects of ambroxol hydrochloride or the compound (I). The composition of ambroxol hydrochloride and the compound (I) can be developed into drugs used for treating renal vascular hypertension; and compared with the prior art, the composition has excellent substantial characteristics and significant advancement.
