Abstract

The invention discloses a low temperature SCR catalyst and a preparation method thereof; the method is as follows: dissolving manganese nitrate and other nitrates in 100mL deionized water, adding activated alumina powder, then slowly adding concentrated ammonia dropwise, adjusting the pH to 10-11, continuing stirring for 2-6h, filtering by suction, drying in a drying oven at 50-100 DEG C, and then roasting in a muffle furnace at 200-500 DEG C for 2-8h; and the catalyst takes the activated alumina or cordierite powder as a carrier, and an active component is manganese oxide or composite oxides thereof. The catalyst comprises 5% to 15% by mass of the active component and balance of the carrier. The catalyst belongs to an environment-friendly catalyst, the catalyst active window is in the range of 125 to 200 DEG C, the denitration rate reaches 80% above, and the catalyst has long service life.
