Abstract

The freshwater microalgae is cultivated by a two-step method, then microalgae biomasses are collected by a flocculation-plate frame squeezing method after the freshwater microalgae is cultivated, and the nervonic acid-containing microalgae oil is extracted through an ethyl alcohol sub-critical extraction method. Growth conditions, the oil contents and the nervonic acid contents of algae plants under different culture medium components in different growth stages of a large-scale cultivation process are disclosed by the invention. The production process can increase the yield of nervonic acid of the algae plants, and other polyunsaturated fatty acids with relatively high value can be produced; the production method is an environment-friendly and low-cost production technology for producing a bioactive product with a high additional value.
