Abstract

The invention discloses a thermophile complex inoculant and a method thereof for degrading excess sludge. The thermophile complex inoculant is prepared by uniformly mixing five thermophiles, namely, bacillus stearothermophilus, geobacillus sp, bacillus pumilus, bacillus subtilis and actinomycetes at the ratio of 3 to 3 to 3 to 2 to 2, wherein the five thermophiles are obtained by separating from soil, a petroleum pollution sample, composted plant straws and composted sludge, screening and identifying. The thermophile complex inoculant, under certain conditions, can degrade 70% of excess sludge after 5d fermentation, and can completely degrade the excess sludge within 10d. With the application of the thermophile complex inoculant, excess sludge composting efficiency can be improved and degradation of organic matters can be accelerated; therefore, the thermophile complex inoculant takes an important role in excess sludge treatment and recycling.
