The brominated butyl rubber/silicon rubber is prepared from the following ingredients in parts by weight: 90 to 100 parts of brominated butyl rubber, 5 to 10 parts of silicon rubber, 3 to 5 parts of zinc oxide, 1 to 2 parts of stearic acid, 30 to 50 parts of carbon black, 0 to 20 parts of filling materials, 1 to 3 parts of vaseline, 3 to 5 parts of paraffin oil, 1 to 3 parts of paraffin, 1.7 to 2.5 parts of accelerating agents and 0.5 to 1 part of vulcanizing agents. The prepared brominated butyl rubber/silicon rubber has good physical and mechanical properties; the mustard gas liquid drip resistance time can reach 11 to 13 hours, and is much longer than the value of at least 60h specified in GJB1155A-2004 General Specification of Filtered Gas Mask.
