Abstract

A method for preparing a detection membrane for detecting cadmium ions in a body of water. The preparation method comprises: placing a polysulfone membrane into a solution of potassium 3-sulfopropyl methacrylate monomer, and irradiating the same with ultraviolet rays for 20-60 minutes, to obtain a polysulfone membrane grafted with the potassium 3-sulfopropyl methacrylate monomer; and placing the polysulfone membrane grafted with the potassium 3-sulfopropyl methacrylate monomer into a porphyrin solution and reacting for 15-24 hours, to give a detection membrane for detecting cadmium ions in a body of water. Further disclosed are a detection membrane prepared using the above method, and an application of the detection membrane for detecting cadmium ions in a body of water, enabling quick and accurate detection of trace amounts of cadmium ions in bodies of water to be tested.
