The soft environment-friendly low-smoke halogen-free polyolefin insulating material comprisesthe following components in parts by weight: an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer EVA in which the content of VA (vinyl acetate) is 40%, linear low-density polyethylene (metallocene polyethylene) LLDPE, polyethylene EPPE, an ethylene-octene copolymer POE, maleic anhydride grafted metallocene polyethylene, powdered magnesium hydroxide, laminar aluminium hydroxide, polysilazane resin, silicon dioxide aerogel, magnesium stearate, silicone oil, an anti-oxidant, caged phosphate melamine salt, polyphenyl ether, a coupling agent, a lubricant and fluorophosphorous acid. According to the halogen-free efficient flame-retardant polyolefin cable material, the addition of magnesium hydroxide and aluminium hydroxide is reduced, the flame retardancy of a hydroxide can be greatly improved, the influence from addition of a flame retardant on the mechanical property is reduced, the favorable tensile strength is 15 MPa, the favorable elongation at break is 650%, and the mechanical performance of the cable material is further improved.
