Abstract

The invention relates to a device for production of high grade synthesis gas from biomass. The device consists of a multifunctional gasification reactor, a fluidized bed heat carrier heater, a heat carrier separator, a catalyst regeneration classification separation system and a synthesis gas collector. The device uses a "W" type reactor to achieve organic coupling of biomass pyrolysis gasification, pyrolysis gas reforming and synthesis gas filtration processes, and has the significant advantages of small equipment volume, complete reaction, high synthesis gas grade and no tar or dust. The invention also relates to a process for production of high grade synthesis gas from biomass, the process can effectively improve the yield of synthesis gas, reduce the tar content of the synthesis gas, and simultaneously improves the catalyst utilization.
